Interviewed by Gabriella Overödder, Executive Director at Effektiv Altruism, Alayna is a Public Sector Consultant and AI Ethics Researcher at IBM. She's a data scientist, project manager, and researcher who's focused on how AI technology will affect society and policy. At IBM, she leads a team in the Public Sector practice working on AI Ethics and bias mitigation. She also works with an internal think tank team on thought leadership pieces on AI and the Government industry, among other things. She's interested in aligning human and AI values in both the short and long term.

GFI works with scientists, investors, and entrepreneurs to develop and promote clean meat and plant-based alternatives to animal products.
