Magnify Mentoring supports, inspires, and connects a global community of people who are motivated to have a positive impact with their careers and lives. Originally aimed exclusively at women, non binary and trans people of all genders, since starting in 2019, we have grown to a global network of over 500 community members, spanning thirty-five countries, and all inhabited continents. Following the success of our first two years, we are piloting projects to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of expanding our services to support more people with mentorship, particularly those from traditionally underrepresented groups.
"Through the mentorship, I also joined a network of accomplished and kind people who help lift each other up. I’ve made some of the best connections in my life through this program, and I have no intention of leaving this community!"
"The training we had helped me build my self confidence and taught me how to manage impostor syndrome, which is beneficial as I advance in my career."
"It has been such a pleasure getting to know intelligent people all over the world with a passion for helping others. The program is very well organized with recommended questions and prompts for meetings which makes my monthly meetings with my mentees very productive."
"When I first joined I was considering a big career change, and was worried about being able to make this transition. However, talking to different members and hearing about their varied career trajectories allowed me to feel more confident about the impactful roles that I could aspire to."
Magnify Mentorship supports a global community of people who are motivated to have a positive impact with their careers and lives. Our team and expert advisors pair mentees who are interested in pursuing high-impact careers with more experienced mentors for a series of one-on-one meetings. On average, mentees and mentors meet once a month for 60-90 minutes. To facilitate discussion, we provide optional prompt questions. Through our Slack and multiple networking events we offer mentees access to a broader community with a wealth of professional and personal expertise. We also run training led by external professionals on a diversity of topics such as public speaking, building networks, and setting professional and personal boundaries, catered to our mentees needs.
