TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOU...

I just finished my PhD in History, part of an international research project funded by a grant of 1.5M€. Through this PhD, I gained excellent esearch skills, whether qualitative or quantitative. I am also very good at communicating complex research results to expert and non-expert audiences. I also wrote a proposal for COP26. I am looking forward to transfer these skills into a research/project manager role in effective altruism, especially regarding climate change and nuclear risks.

WHAT CONSIDERATIONS GUIDE YOU IN DECIDING HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEND YOUR CAREER? HOW DO YOU PRIORITIZE OR WEIGH THESE?

Impact and career capital are the two main criteria for me when I plan my career. I am at a turning point of my career, as I am looking to use my research and communication skills in an impactful role. This implies honing and fostering my research skills in order to work on impactful topics, as well as making the necessary connections to organize fruitful collaborations.

WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IDEAL ROLES FOR YOU, WHAT ARE SOME

KEY CHARACTERISTICS?

A generalist role that would mix research and project management, as I am looking forward to create a project from beginning to start while keeping the 'big picture' level of expertise in mind. My areas of specialization would be nuclear risks or global development, in which both I developed solid background knowledge.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE RECRUITERS LOOKING AT YOUR PROFILE TO KNOW?

I am a very curious person, which means that I'll always look at one problem with as many angles as I can. I am an ambitious problem-solver who would love to create as much impact as I can.
