TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOU...

I'm a product manager at Reddit who has managed both Reddit search teams, both back and frontend, for about 3 years. I'm currently based in London, and studied Computer Science and Cognitive Science at the Claremont Colleges in California. I'm passionate about using technology to do explicit good, and am especially interested in the environment, health accessibility, and ethical AI areas.

WHAT CONSIDERATIONS GUIDE YOU IN DECIDING HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEND YOUR CAREER? HOW DO YOU PRIORITIZE OR WEIGH THESE?

I balance my interests and strengths with what work is most effective, as shown by research. Ultimately, the most effective causes as a pool of options to begin considering, then consider which roles in these spaces would work well with my strengths, and ultimately select based on alignment with my interests. I would struggle to work in a space where I felt like I wasn't working on something I cared about or felt like was completely ineffective.

WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IDEAL ROLES FOR YOU, WHAT ARE SOME

KEY CHARACTERISTICS?

An ideal role would be leading a team of passionate people in one/ multiple areas of climate activism, health accessibility, or AI safety. We would be working on leveraging technology to advance one of those areas. Primarily I would have a high level of say over what projects are prioritized and how they are executed, and I would want to work closely and efficiently with my team mates.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE RECRUITERS LOOKING AT YOUR PROFILE TO KNOW?
