TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOU...
Having a background in Biotech and Bioinformatics I love combining my broad knowledge in the biological sciences with my computer science skills, especially data science.
I spent the last year of my master's doing computational research in pathogen evolution as well as developing a deep interest in both biosecurity and AI risk.
As such, I am excited to work on these issues, either by deepening my technical skills or gaining more experience in technology policy.
WHAT CONSIDERATIONS GUIDE YOU IN DECIDING HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEND YOUR CAREER? HOW DO YOU PRIORITIZE OR WEIGH THESE?
The world is a messy and complex place with a lot of pressing problems making the decision of what to work on difficult. In my career, I want to focus on the problems that seem plausibly like some of the most important or neglected ones while developing many new skills on the way.
WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IDEAL ROLES FOR YOU, WHAT ARE SOME
KEY CHARACTERISTICS?
When I think about a dream job it is always one that helps me grow and supports my career development while at the same time showing me a clear path to impact, immediate or in the future.
It would also challenge me regularly and lead to a steep learning curve and good feedback loops to help me improve fast. Also, an ideal role involves social connectedness and teamwork with my colleagues and milestones that we can celebrate together.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE RECRUITERS LOOKING AT YOUR PROFILE TO KNOW?
