TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOU...
My expertise lies in events management and community building in Asia. In the past 12 months, I have organized 3 retreats, 2 in-person conferences, an unconference, and 2 virtual conferences. This is on top of my work with EA Singapore and EA Anywhere.
Separately, I have also done communications (social media, copywriting, and branding) work with Training for Good and Pandemic Prevention Network. I am familiar with info hazards and scientific communication.
WHAT CONSIDERATIONS GUIDE YOU IN DECIDING HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEND YOUR CAREER? HOW DO YOU PRIORITIZE OR WEIGH THESE?
My key considerations are that I am able to have personal development and impact in the role. To a lesser degree, I also consider personal fit for the role (do I like it?) and practicality (visas etc.)
As an early career individual, I really want to grow and gain experience in different areas of work. Having a role that is aligned with this helps ensure role longevity but also helps empower me as an employee and a person.

WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IDEAL ROLES FOR YOU, WHAT ARE SOME
KEY CHARACTERISTICS?
One of my strengths is communicating with people from different backgrounds. I enjoy supporting people, helping communities feel seen, and giving them the resources required to excel. An ideal role for me would allow me to build on these elements. Separately, I would also love roles with wider scopes that allow me to test my fit for different types of work.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE RECRUITERS LOOKING AT YOUR PROFILE TO KNOW?
I want to highlight that given the density of my projects in EA, I have also developed strong abilities to multiple tasks, context switch, and manage diverse remote teams. This meant successfully working on up to 5-6 projects with minimal oversight from my managers.
